Empowering and Improving The Lives Of Dentists Worldwide
In 2012 The Texas Center for Occlusal Studies and Minimally Invasive Dentistry was founded by life long friends and colleagues Dr. Hal Stewart, Dr. Craig Herre and Mr. Dan O’Rourke. Through their various teaching experiences, professional memberships and roles within dental organizations, they saw both young and established dentists who were frustrated with the current state of their practices. Tied down by the binds of insurance companies, doctors were limited not only in the fees they could charge, but also in their treatment.
Dr. Stewart, Dr. Herre and Mr. O’Rourke began teaching individual courses on life-enhancing dentistry in 2012 and a year later, built the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies and Minimally Invasive Dentistry. The Center focuses on providing each student hands-on experience, and a support community with faculty who are easily available outside of the classroom environment.
The goal of the center is to provide an intimate setting for the dental professional who wishes to:
- Profoundly impact their patients’ health in a meaningful and significant way.
- Practice in an insurance, third-party-free environment.
- Acquire the confidence and the ability to diagnose and treat tmj/myofacial pain by restoring the failing and worn dentition in a systematic and predictable way utilizing state -of-the -art minimally invasive techniques.
